Meet Paula
One of our new Intriguing Faces painting series. Every Face tells a story; some stories are easy to guess, others may be a bit of a surprise, but all are intriguing.
Paula is having a Blue Hair Don’t Care Day thinking about the arc of her singing career. She’s gone from performing in Dive Bars to the Big Stage and back again with a couple of summers in between headlining on the county fair circuit. Her one regret was trusting her ex-manager with her music royalties. That man is living large somewhere in Mexico while Paula looking forward to her next Birthday and being old enough to collect Social Security and enrolling in Medicare. She often wonders why didn’t she take her brother’s advice and invest in a frozen yogurt franchise.
Overall Paula’s life has been grand. Whatever may be lacking in her bank account has been overcompensated with enriching life experiences. Her days now consist of practicing her dance and yoga moves, volunteering at her local animal shelter and fostering a couple of adorable pups. She’s a happy woman.
